Sustainable communities

Building stronger communities from the ground up by investing in the places, spaces and services we need to live life to the fullest – now, and for the future.
Sustainable communities are places where everyone can feel a sense of belonging, and are empowered to take action to realise the change they want to see. People care about their environment and the people around them, and drive community-led solutions to help people overcome challenges and access opportunities.

How we’re making a difference

Tackling the key areas of need

From supporting innovative and long-term food solutions for our county and enabling people to access good quality and affordable food to working with marginalised individuals to create publicly-accessible community greenspaces, we are working with local charities and community groups to help people work together to solve local problems and take action to provide the care, opportunities and facilities people need most.

Love and Nourish Norfolk

Norfolk Community Foundation’s Love Norfolk Fund helps local people work together to solve local problems and take action to provide the care, opportunities and facilities people need most, alongside the Nourishing Norfolk Fund which works with local communities to develop long-term solutions to combat food insecurity, helping to create sustainable communities where people can live life to the fullest.
