Bishop of Norwich Community Fund
The aim of the fund is to provide assistance to community based projects, organisations and groups within the Diocese of Norwich, with preference given to those with a Christian foundation and ethos.
The Diocese of Norwich covers all of Norfolk except for the extreme West (Downham Market area), and also includes North-East Suffolk (Lowestoft and immediate surrounding area).
The fund will support a wide range of charitable causes with an emphasis on strengthening communities and community activities. Grants range from £100-£2,000.
Who can apply
Charitable, community and voluntary groups based or clearly operating in the eligible area can apply. This includes Churches/ PCCs and Parish Councils where the project is clearly community focused and inclusive.

Schools are not eligible to apply.
When to apply
Grants are typically awarded in one annual round. Deadlines will be published here when the Fund is open.
How to apply
Norfolk Community Foundation has launched a new way to apply online, which enables applicants to complete more of the process entirely online if they wish. If you have any problems at all using the new system please contact the Grants Team for support.

Making an online application:
Step 1 – Download the Independent Reference Form and pass to the person you have chosen to act as a referee for this application
Step 2 – Complete the online application form by clicking on the link below. The new form enables you to upload various pieces of supporting information to complete your application. You can still send some or all of your supporting information separately by email or by post if you wish.
Step 3 – Ensure that Norfolk Community Foundation receives your online form, all supporting information and the Independent Reference Form by the deadline date.
