Great Yarmouth Community Investment Fund
Grants of up to £10,000 are available for Voluntary, Community and Social Enterprise (VCSE) organisations which are based and/or clearly operating within the borough of Great Yarmouth.
The Great Yarmouth Community Investment Fund has been made possible by Great Yarmouth Borough Council and other local funders who wish to make a difference in Great Yarmouth.
All applicants should be working to meet at least one of the following four priority areas:
1. Reducing health inequality by encouraging healthier lifestyles, providing support for mental and physical health, and strengthening community support.
2. Improving education and skills pathways, attainment, and creating career ambition.
3. Reducing vulnerability and supporting those at risk of exploitation.
4. Reducing isolation and social exclusion by building community networks and cohesion.
Projects which meet one or more of these aims will be prioritised for funding.
This funding might be right for you if:
- You are seeking project costs or continuation costs relating to the ongoing development needs of your organisation
- You are working in partnership with other local organisations
- You are filling a gap in provision in the Borough of Great Yarmouth
- You are seeking continuation funding for a project previously supported by the Fund that has clearly demonstrated its impact against the Fund’s priorities
- You would be able to record and report on participation data, including (where possible) the postcodes of people accessing your funded project, to Great Yarmouth Borough Council – all data shared would be anonymous, and will help Great Yarmouth Borough Council to understand the reach of funded activities
- You can spend your grant within 12 months of receipt
This funding might not be right for you if:
- Your project is a capital (building) project, including kitchen/toilet and other refurbishments
- Your services do not operate in the borough of Great Yarmouth

When to apply
The deadline for applications is 12 midday on 2nd July 2025. Funding decisions will be confirmed in September 2025.
