Public Sector Organisations
Part of our offering to local authorities and other public bodies is to deliver a professional, independent approach to help you deliver support to community projects and ensure that funding reaches the people and causes it needs to reach.
By working with us, you can significantly reduce the administrative time and cost associated with the delivery of a grants programme. We appreciate that in establishing your grants programmes, you will need to report on outcomes against objectives and our grants team provide monitoring and reporting to meet your particular reporting requirements. The Foundation administers the fund and our grants team offer an independent and streamlined process from an initial meeting to discuss the aims and objectives of the fund, its geographical reach, the outcomes expected and the size of grant and criteria required. We will help to publicise the fund amongst community groups and manage the whole application process from initial assessment to monitoring progress once grants have been allocated.
We have worked with various local authorities and public bodies across the county in the delivery of their grants programmes including:
Construction Fund – The Norfolk County Council Community Construction Fund was created to enable communities across Norfolk to bring to life building projects that will make a real difference to local life. Applicants were also encouraged to work with local contractors to provide an economic boost to the county.
Norfolk Community Fund – The Norfolk County Council Community Fund was created to help build capacity in Norfolk’s small, grassroots charities, voluntary and community groups, by enabling them to be in a stronger position to support local people.
South Norfolk Community Sports Fund – helps children to pursue their sporting ambitions, and strengthen grassroots community sports infrastructure in the district by funding coaching training.
Borough Council of King’s Lynn and West Norfolk – The Borough Council has worked with the Foundation to deliver a range of grant programmes, from revenue and capital schemes, to one off funds to encourage West Norfolk communities to celebrate the Jubilee, Olympics and Royal Wedding, and to commemorate the centenary of WW1.
- Safer Norfolk Medium Grants Fund – The PCC (Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner for Norfolk) Safer Norfolk Medium Grants Fund delivers against the Commissioner’s priority areas including domestic abuse and sexual violence, the rehabilitation of offenders and prevention of offending, mental health, drugs and alcohol support and criminal justice (including support for victims).
Two Year Old Fund was created to help Norfolk County Council to meet its targets to increase the number of two year old places available for Norfolk families by offering grants and loans towards capital projects to create new settings, or expand existing.
We also deliver funding programmes for New Anglia LEP and a number of Youth Advisory Boards across Norfolk.
