Individuals, Families and Charitable Trusts

make a donation

We work closely with individuals and families to help them achieve their philanthropic aims and we adopt a personal and flexible approach depending on the specific wishes of the donor.

Love Norfolk Fund

The easiest way to give through the Norfolk Community Foundation is to make a donation to our Love Norfolk Fund which responds to pressing local needs. Projects are selected by a panel of experts who give priority to the most disadvantaged groups and most pressing needs in Norfolk.

Named Fund

If you wish to give a larger amount, even if pledged over time, you have the option to set up your own Named Fund from which you can make donations to local charities and community groups. You can set up your fund in your family or other name, or you can remain anonymous if you prefer. Setting up an endowed fund within the Foundation offers you and your family a cost effective, permanent alternative to a charitable trust, whilst ensuring your giving is managed tax efficiently. We handle all legal and administrative requirements and work with you to ensure that your fund supports the causes you care about most.

Whether you are interested in supporting a particular cause or geographical area of Norfolk or need advice on emerging needs, we can help you to direct your donation to local groups working with those in need.

Collective Giving

The Norfolk 100 or Norfolk Future Fund are other ways of making an impact through giving as part of a group towards the collective ambition of helping to make Norfolk a better place.

How to give

Most funds are set up with a donation of money or through a legacy. However, you can establish a fund or make a donation through a gift of shares, land or property.
