The Fund will support charities, voluntary and community groups working throughout Norfolk, particularly the Great Yarmouth and Breckland areas, as well as the Waveney/Halesworth area of Suffolk.

The aim of the Bernard Matthews Fund is to support charities, voluntary and community groups working throughout Norfolk, particularly the Great Yarmouth and Breckland areas, as well as the Waveney/Halesworth area of Suffolk.

Grants of up to £1,500 are available.

The fund seeks to support projects that address a clear need, such as disability or rural isolation and those where its support will make the most impact. It is unlikely to support projects where it is being asked to contribute to a larger cost e.g. £1,500 towards a £20,000 salary or large building projects.

Preference will be given to projects taking place in or benefiting rural areas.
