Together Through Winter
This winter, help us create a Norfolk where everyone belongs, feels welcome, and gets the support they need.
Nobody should face winter alone.
As the colder months arrive, many people across Norfolk face increasing pressure. Higher household costs, worries about keeping warm and feelings of loneliness can make winter especially challenging. Yet across our county, communities are stepping up. Local groups are creating opportunities for people to come together, share a meal, access support, make new connections and find a welcoming place in their community.
Our Together Through Winter appeal will help these local organisations as they respond to growing need. Donations will fund activities that bring people together, reduce isolation and provide practical help to those experiencing hardship. By supporting community-led action, we can help ensure more people stay connected, supported and hopeful throughout the winter months.
Donate online quickly and securely, or alternatively please make a cheque payable to Norfolk Community Foundation (referencing ‘Surviving Winter’ on the reverse) and send it to Norfolk Community Foundation, First Floor, Carmelite House, 2 St James Court, Norwich, NR3 1SL.
Winter, and beyond
Last winter, Norfolk came together in an extraordinary way. Through our Matched for Change appeal, supporters helped raise more than £55,000, unlocking a total of over £111,000 for local communities across the county. Together, we supported projects tackling food insecurity, fuel hardship, loneliness and isolation, proving what is possible when we all come together.
This winter, your support will once again help local people through some of the toughest months of the year. Donations to Together Through Winter will help communities support families facing hardship.
But winter is only part of the story. The charities and community groups we support are there all year round, offering friendship, practical help, food, activities and opportunities that help people thrive. By giving to Together Through Winter, you’re not just helping someone through the colder months, you’re investing in stronger, more connected communities across Norfolk for the year ahead.
