Are you interested in helping to make Norfolk a better place to live today and tomorrow?

Do you have proven experience of managing projects and a passion for delivering change? Are you interested in developing a series of community-led solutions? Would you like to be part of a team that is making a tangible difference to lives across Norfolk?

Norfolk Community Foundation is passionate about helping everyone in Norfolk to ‘Shine Brighter’. Part of our work is to help those struggling to afford quality, nutritious food each and every day. We are developing a series of community-led sustainable solutions and are now looking to appoint a full-time Project Manager who will lead on the successful implementation of the Foundation’s Food Partnership Programme across Norfolk. Initially a 2-year contract, with the expectation that the role will develop into a permanent position.

The key responsibilities of the Project Manager role will include undertaking and managing ongoing community consultations to ensure co-production of projects ranging from informal pantry top ups to full-blown community supermarkets, developing and sustaining long-term relationships with key local and national partners, and seeking opportunities to propose and develop ideas for new projects that fulfil the local need.

We are always keen to broaden the diversity of the Foundation and so welcome applications from black, Asian and other ethnic minority communities, and lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender people.

No two days will be the same, and you can expect to be speaking regularly with local charities, national organisations, and local authorities, whilst perhaps helping to co-ordinate fresh food supplies from a local farmer. The Food Partnership Programme continues to evolve and there is huge scope for new ideas and to co-develop new food provision models.
