In 2015, Members of Norfolk Youth Parliament encouraged over 17,000 young people to take part in the annual Make Your Mark consultation. Make Your Mark gives Norfolk’s young people the opportunity to identify their biggest concerns. In 2015 the top issues were mental health education and developing skills to help prepare young people for life outside the classroom.

Grants will be considered up to a maximum of £2,000 for applications:

  • which challenge the stigma and stereotypes surrounding mental health and help young people to develop the skills and knowledge to identify positive mental health in themselves and peers.
  • that provide new opportunities for young people to prepare for life outside of the classroom, such as, finance, sex and relationship education and political education
  • that demonstrate evidence of ‘match’ or own fundraising to support the Norfolk Youth Fund grant.
  • that involve young people aged 11-18 years (or up to 25 for young people with physical or learning disabilities).

Norfolk Youth Fund encourages applications from across all of Norfolk’s constituency areas.
