Love Norfolk Event

Over 260 guests joined the Norfolk Community Foundation at the John Innes Centre on 3rd November to attend its second “Love Norfolk” event.
We were privileged to have Phillip Blond as our guest speaker who so many recognise as the architect of Big Society. Phillip’s views on individuals and communities working together for the benefit of the local communities have been fully embraced by the Coalition Government. Phillip’s presentation was thought provoking and will ensure that Big Society remains in the minds of those who attended the event.
We were also very proud to have our newest Trustee, Carol Bundock, interview four organisations that have received grants from the Norfolk Community Foundation. It was a wonderful opportunity to showcase their services to a very receptive audience and in Dawn Jackson, the head of the Futures Project, we had one of this county's newest MBE’s!
