A grant of £1,120 provided first aid training for staff and promotional materials.

Victim Support Norfolk on behalf of King's Lynn Witness Service

A grant of £500 supported the Witness Service at the Coroner's Court.

Mancroft Advice Project (MAP)

A grant of £500 helped with core costs of the organisation

Holt Youth Project

£500 assisted the organisation with core costs.

Filby Youth Club

A £500 grant went towards core costs of the organisation.

Benjamin Foundation

£1,500 helped to take members of the Special Needs Youth Club on a residential activity weekend.

Southgates Medical & Surgical Centre

A grant of £1,725 funded for a writing group for individuals with mental health problems who would like to write but do not know how to start. The aim of the project is to help these individuals develop self-confidence and overcome feelings of helplessness.

Age Concern Norwich

£10,075 will provide funding to begin a program in the Nelson Unit of HMP Norwich wherein volunteers will spend time with individuals or groups of prisoners in an attempt to improve their mental health and increase socialisation within the unit.

Sing Your Heart Out

£7,000 will help to continue this a series of singing workshops for users of mental health services, carers, friends & family, support workers and staff.

Julian Housing

A grant of £25,200 will help to expand the Discovery Quest, a walking based therapy project for individuals with mental health problems, to Norfolk's rural areas.

Community Music East

£10,000 provided funding to work with young people who have mental health and behavioral issues to create an educational DVD which will then be shown to staff at schools as well as other children and young people who may have similar problems.

King's Lynn Leisure Group

£460 will provide service users with drumming workshops in association with Norfolk Music Works and a healthy eating workshop.

Spirit of Carnival

£1,990 will fund community carnival art workshops and materials for Dragon Fest, which will offer 12 disadvantaged community groups the opportunity to work with professional artists to build carnival structures.

Norwich Lads Amateur Boxing Club

A grant of £4550 allowed the group to purchase a competition ring to allow the club to hold boxing shows. This will save the club £3,000 pa and the income from these shows will help the club to cover core costs in the future.

Harling and District Social Support Group

A grant of £1,800 provided funding for a monthly relaxation and therapeutic arts session with a tutor willing to travel to their venue. Costs include room hire, tutor & transportation.

Benjamin Foundation

Awarded a grant of £998 towards the Resettlement Service which supports former homeless young people into independent living.

North Walsham Multisports

Awarded a grant of £3,500 for coaching staff, equipment and hire of van and facilities to start a thrid group in Stalham.

Norwich International Youth Project

A grant of £2,000 contributed to core costs of the youth project, which include weekly activities such as football, outings and holidays, salaries and overheads.

Twins Triplets and More

£500 provided funding for various start up costs including venue hire, baby toys, changing mats and refreshments.

Back on Track

Awarded £500 for subsidised activities and travel.

Norwich Diocesan Playvan

£5,000 were awarded towards core costs of the project.

Heartsease Community Project

£2,000 allowed the organisation to continue the social support group for people experiencing mental distress or social isolation (Lifelines at the Community Café).

Transparent

A grant of £1,398 was awarded towards running costs of the group, including venue, insurance, new toys and a self defence course for the parents.

Cruse Bereavement Care

£2,000 allowed the organisation to rent a new counselling room, as past clients have mentioned that the current rooms at URC are unwellcoming and intimidating, and therefore not conducive to relaxation.

MOVE ON East

£1,000 contributed towards funding to provide a basic woodwork programme to clients of MOVE ON east to teach participants a variety of new skills including measurement, working with wood, using hand tools, and following instruction.

North Norfolk Different Strokes

£1,250 helped with core costs of running the support group for young stroke survivors and carers.

Marlpit Community Centre

£800 provided funding for a weekly group session for recent immigrants to the area to come together and meet new people. The group will also offer informal English language classes and children's play.

The Chermond Trust

A grant of £930 allowed the group to purchase a new gymnastics mat.

Sprowston Day Centre

A grant of £2,000 provided for hire of a tail lift ambulance to enable wheelchair and frame users to get to the day centre on Fridays.

Hope and Smile Club

An award of £1,000 provided funding for sessional tutors and therapies as well as other core cost expenses for the group.

Surviving Together

A grant of £1,000 will help to pay for activities, training and life enhancing skills for members as well as venue hire, hospitality, stationery, insurance and similar costs of this childhood sexual abuse support group.

Costessey Carers Support Group

£2,000 will contribute towards a weekend trip to a specialty hotel in Blackpool which caters to groups that require care and offers carers respite.

Lowestoft Shopmobility

Awarded a grant of £500 towards core costs of the organisation.

£2,000 awarded to work with Congolese refugee children, including sports coaching and literacy/IT lessons.

Tilney All Saints Local History Group

£500 will allow the group to publish a book written by the group about the village.

North Lynn Community Association

£500 will help to fund a community carnival

Coltishall Village Hall & Recreation Ground

Awarded £166 for an afternoon tea dance for the older people of the community.

Community Action Norwich

Awarded £1,500 for an ongoing Befriending Programme for people who have left/ involved in prostitution. The programme offers clients social engagement, positive changes in attitude, taking responsibility, helping others & making healthier life choices.

Loose Ends

A grant of £1,630 provided funding for chairs and tables for the group to use during their meetings.

Sing Your Heart Out

An award of £1,870 provided funding to move existing workshops to areas which have all the facilities required, start new SYHO workshops in North Norfolk and to publish and disseminate the results of investigations to benefits of SYHO for everyone involved.

Canary Five A Side

A grant of £500 provided funding to enable young people and children the opportunity to socially and physically interact and compete in five a side football competitions, gaining all round confidence regardless of their abilities whilst doing something they enjoy.

Sewell Park Centenary Celebration

A grant of £480 will help fund a celebration to mark the 100th year of Sewell Park.
