The Autistic Way –      Smart Kids OK
- Great Yarmouth

Awarded £1332.92 for toys and creative play equipment appropriate for pre school children on the autistic spectrum, for use in the newly formed Mother & Toddler group.

Mancroft Advice Project (MAP) - Norwich

Awarded £906.00 to fund drama workshop training for 10 MAP users, in conjunction with 'The Garage' in Norwich, to address issues of confidence and self worth.

Norfolk African Community Association (NACA) - Norwich

Awarded £2,000 to fund workshops and social events throughout 2006 to promote personal development through activities that impart knowledge and skills for self - reliance.

The Omnibus Project - North Walsham

The Omnibus Project operates a double decker community playbus, which supports families and groups by offering IT and play facilities at various rural locations.  Awarded £2,000 to fund the Project's vehicle, contents and public liability insurance for the upcoming year.

Pulhams Playgroup - Diss

Awarded £351.19 to fund the purchase of a computer workstation for a recently donated computer, and appropriate software and accessories to allow the children to acquire relevant computer skills on entering school.

Thalia Theatre Company - Norwich

Thalia is a theatre company for disabled adults and young people with physical and sensory impairments in particular, but not exclusively.  The company devise theatre to challenge negative perceptions of disabled people.  They were awarded £992.80 to facilitate a two day tuitional residency by 'Rambert Dance Company' from London, for all 24 Thalia Company members.

West Norfolk Befriending Group - Kings Lynn

West Norfolk Befriending provides a service for socially isolated older people and aims to reduce loneliness and isolation by matching service users with a trained volunteer Befriender who will visit them on a regular basis and take them out where possible.  They were awarded £2,000 to cover the organisation's office rent and overheads for the upcoming year.
