The Norfolk Community Foundation offers an alternative and structured approach to corporate giving, providing practical advice around the different options from which a company can choose to channel their charitable funds. The benefit to your organisation is that you can retain control and staff involvement in terms of grant-making, yet reduce the administrative aspect of giving.
We also offer CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) Consultancy to help you align your giving with your corporate objectives. Our Good Giving Guide is a good starting place if you are reviewing your CSR programme.
By setting up a fund within the Foundation, your organisation maintains control of where your funds go and receives full recognition for all donations made. Such a relationship takes away the administrative burden of giving and you can be confident that donations are applied to their best effect. All appeal letters are handled by the Foundation, so your company will never have to say no again. If the appeal does not meet your criteria, the Foundation can look for support from another fund under its management.

We manage a range of corporate funds for businesses and organisations in Norfolk, providing practical support and advice around the various charitable giving options available. We work closely with you to tailor your fund in line with your own corporate aspirations, matching your organisation with the causes you care about to local charities and community groups in your chosen area of Norfolk.
You may which to choose groups operating in communities close to your premises or particular charitable activities such as developing skills for young people. We will work with you to establish the fund criteria to help to guide applicants. We then present applications on your behalf and present these at panel meetings which would normally include a cross section or representatives within your organisation. All applications for grants are assessed by our grants team in advance of these meetings and approved by our board of Trustees as part of our governance procedures.
