Making a greater difference through collective giving
The Norfolk Future Fund is a collective giving group for people working in Norfolk to come together and help tackle issues that really matter. Together, we’re building a sustainable local grant fund, created by a collective of caring individuals who want to make a real difference to Norfolk communities.
Funds are distributed through a range of grants and events – current opportunities are published below.

Would you like to meet some of Norfolk’s newest donors and receive a share of a £10,000 pot which has been created by members of the Norfolk Future Fund?
Norfolk community groups and charities are invited to apply to take part in a fun and interactive fundraising event. Four groups will be shortlisted to take part in a ‘Dragon’s Den’ style event where you will meet donors and tell them first-hand about the work you do. Each shortlisted group will have the opportunity of receiving funding of up to £2,500 for their project, pledged by guests on the night.
Finalists will need to be available to attend the event on Thursday 2 November, 6pm-8.30pm in Norwich, where funding decisions will be made.
Who can apply
Charitable, community and voluntary groups based or clearly operating in Norfolk can apply.
Schools are not eligible to apply.
Applications are particularly welcomed from smaller, volunteer led charities and constituted community groups where an award of £2,500 would make the most difference.
When to apply
The deadline for applications is 5pm, 1 September 2017. Applications will be shortlisted, and selected groups will be supported to take part in the event on 2 November when funds will be allocated.
How to apply
Norfolk Community Foundation has launched a new way to apply online, which enables applicants to complete more of the process entirely online if they wish. If you have any problems at all using the new system please contact the Grants Team for support.

Independent reference: Please note: we no longer require applicants to provide an independent reference with every application. Instead you will be asked to provide contact details for a referee within the online application form and we will contact the referee where we feel this will be helpful. Please see our FAQs for guidance on choosing an independent referee.

Step 1 – Complete the online application form by clicking on the link below. The new form enables you to upload various pieces of supporting information to complete your application. You can still send some or all of your supporting information separately by email or by post if you wish.
Step 2 – Ensure that Norfolk Community Foundation receives your online form, and all supporting information, by the deadline date.
