Community Safety

Everyone is aware of the vital role that the emergency services play in keeping our communities safe, and responding to crisis. Far less well known are the volunteers and charities that work across the county to deliver services that add capacity to statutory provision on a local level, and offer a place to turn when personal safety is threatened. Many such groups receive little or no government funding, and are entirely dependent on grants and their own fundraising efforts.

Norfolk Community Foundation’s grants are able to support many projects and community initiatives to help us feel safer, and provide support and guidance when it is most needed.
