Grants for individuals

 

Norfolk Community Foundation does not typically offer grants for individuals, though we occasionally offer small schemes primarily focused on supporting young people and volunteers. Details of current opportunities are below.

Breckland YAB Fund - supports youth activities in Breckland with funding under three separate schemes: Training Bursaries, Transport Fund and Equipment Fund. Each scheme is open to individuals and charitable groups.

Norfolk Millennium Trust for Carers - Small grants typically up to a maximum of £250 which aim to offer unpaid carers a better quality of life by helping towards practical items like washing machines and laptops, power packs for wheelchairs and short breaks.

Shelroy Charitable Trust Fund - Grants of up to £5,000 can be considered to support projects that benefit disabled, vulnerable or disadvantaged people in Norfolk - priority will be given to capital projects to improve or enhance community buildings. Appeals can also be accepted.

South Norfolk Council Community Sports Fund - Supports young people to excel in their chosen sport, and provides grassroots support to the voluntary sports sector in South Norfolk. Two schemes are available: Community Coach Development Bursary and Elite Athlete Fitness Support Scheme.

South Norfolk YAB Young People's Fund - The Fund is open to individuals aged between 11 and 25 years in the South Norfolk area to support those experiencing hardship and who are prevented from achieving their aims and aspirations due to financial barriers.
