I can think of no better way, effortlessly and with confidence, to support local good causes than through Norfolk Community Foundation.

May Gurney Foundation Fund
The Norfolk Community Foundation assists large companies who are distributing funds in Norfolk as part of a wider programme of giving. The May Gurney Fund is a good example.
November 2009 saw the launch of a new UK wide £300,000 community fund from May Gurney. Some of this has already helped groups in Norfolk through the Norfolk Community Foundation. Two of the first awards to Norfolk charities were made before the end of 2009. May Gurney also made a commitment to donate at least another £20,000 in the county by March 2010.
Ian added: “We have committed £100,000 per year to charities in areas where May Gurney works. This year we are donating money in Norfolk, Sussex and Devon. We have also made £15,000 available to match fund employees’ own fund raising activities for local and national charities."

"We strongly believe in giving back to our communities."
