The High Sheriffs’ Fund

For more than 1,000 years High Sheriffs have been associated with Law and Order. Today they give their support to people who strive to make their communities safer places in which to live and work.

The High Sheriffs’ Fund has been created in Norfolk to reward community initiatives that address crime and anti social behavior. Each year the High Sheriff of Norfolk makes awards to voluntary and community groups and gives recognition to individuals who are tackling local problems.

How to Apply

Any Norfolk based organisations needing financial support for their project can apply for an award. Grants of up to £1,000 are available for projects that will make local people, of all ages, feel safer in their homes, schools, towns and villages.

Grant awards are made annually from January.
